Homebody Midwifery provides home Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) services and preconception counseling for all types of people looking to conceive. This service is for anyone who is looking for empowering fertility care and can be especially helpful for; queer families, single parents by choice, “older” parents, non-traditional families, trans or gender non-conforming people, and people who find themselves unmet by mainstream approaches to fertility and conception.
Intrauterine Insemination, or IUI, is a simple and quick procedure during which washed sperm is placed inside the uterus using a very thin and flexible catheter. Choosing to do this at home with midwifery care allows you (and your partner if you are partnered) to truly be centered and autonomous in the experience as well as the opportunity to curate a fertility plan tailored to your needs. IUI services with midwives also allow you to deepen your relationship with your midwife and may be the first of many opportunities to be fully seen and supported by your medical care provider.
Home IUIs with homebody are distinct from a medicated IUI done in a clinic and do not include ovulation inducing medication (or any medications). This service is ideal for folks who don’t have sperm in their relationship, may already have a charting practice, have regular cycles, and no underlying conditions or signs of hormonal imbalance
Health History & Fertility intake

A health history intake is required to proceed with home IUIs
Includes:
• Access to an introductory video from a Fertility Awareness educator that covers general information about cycle health, fertility, and basic tools for charting your cycle.
• An in depth intake of your health history and cycle history where we will create an individualized conception plan and discuss ways to optimize your fertility through nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements and herbs.
• 3 cycles of charting support where you will receive customized support on charting, review your charts in real-time, discuss ways to optimize your fertility and learn when the best time for conceptions may be based on what your chart is telling us.
Home IUI
$300
Additional $100 for fresh sperm
Includes
• On-call availability for your fertile window.
• In home IUI appointment at the time of peak ovulation (a second IUI can be added per cycle for an additional $250/$350 fresh).
• Email and phone support until you are pregnant or no longer in need of IUI services.
